Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (Refresher)

What is special about this course?

The Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders is for those who authorise the sale of alcohol or manage/supervise in premises where alcohol is served.

It is a “relevant qualification” under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 for anyone applying for a Personal Licence in Scotland.

This Refresher course must be completed within 5 years of the date that the Personal Licence was issued.

Evidence of the Refresher training must be provided to the Licensing Board within 3 months after this deadline.

A valid Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders within 5 years of date of issue or last refresher

This unit shows learners how the licensing process works in Scotland, how people employed within the Licensed Trade can work responsibly and the consequences of this if they don’t.
