What is special about this course?
This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to gain knowledge in the fields of health and social care. The course comprises of SQA units specific to Health and Social Care.

How will I study my course?
Face to face teaching, supported with Virtual Learning Environment engagement. One work placement of four weeks duration help students build links between theory and practice.
Portfolios, Reflective Accounts of Practice and Closed Book Assessments.

The good news is that depending on your personal circumstances there are a wide range of bursaries, grants and allowances available to fund your college studies.
What can I do on completion of my course?
Further study may include HNC Care and Administrative Practice or HNC Social Services on successful completion of the group award and achievement of Higher Care at grade C or above.
