What is special about this course?

This Learning Step provides a gentle reminder of Learning Step 1 concepts and then proceeds with more advanced features of Microsoft Word.  The features include paragraph formatting, section breaks, headers and footer and autocorrect, tables, tabs and macros.

Entry requirements

The programme is structured in a flexible manner in order to meet the needs of the student.  You should access the right Step for your own level - this can be discussed with the Trainer.

What can I do on completion of my course?

You can progress on to a range of courses within the Short Course programme or the Learning Steps programme. 

You also have the option to progress to the European Computer Driving Licence or the NC Digital Media Computing Level 5 course.
