Acting and Theatre Performance NC Level 6
What is special about this course?
The course is run in collaboration with Out of the Darkness Theatre Company based in Elgin and aims to develop a range of skills in acting, performance, movement and technical stage skills.
The course is suitable for those considering further study in acting and drama at HNC or degree level and also those considering employment in the theatre or related industries.
Creativity, self-awareness, communication and team work are just some of the skills developed in a realistic setting, with students gaining from the experience of working under direction.
3 National 5s, 2 at A or B and A at A - D, or equivalent experience.
Plus an audition.
Applicants will also need to demonstrate appropriate understanding and skills to meet the demands of the course. Prospective students without the standard entry requirements are encouraged to apply and will be considered on an individual basis.

How will I study my course?
- Full Time
Face to face teaching, supported with Virtual Learning Environment engagement.
Practical performance under supervised conditions, open & closed book assessments.
How long will my course last?
Full time - 1 Year.
