Amy moved to Moray to join Skills Development Scotland as a Careers Adviser in February 2022 and is now an Employer Engagement Executive. Prior to her career with Skills Development Scotland, Amy worked in Higher Education for 12 years with the University of Kent. Starting as a Volunteering and Skills Development Coordinator, Amy developed an interest in careers and trained to be a Careers Adviser, completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance in Higher Education with the University of Warwick. As a Senior Careers Adviser, she contributed to the strategic approach to delivering employability across the University of Kent, leading on service level agreements between Academic Divisions and the Careers and Employability Service.  

Amy completed a Masters in Higher Education at the University of Kent with her thesis focusing on the widening participation agenda. Amy is passionate about the opportunities that an education at UHI Moray can bring to students.

Outside of work, Amy is a keen photographer, bird watcher and paddleboarder.
